We had bad experience with Aashirwad Hospital, Kalyan east. My small child had fever from few days and the RMO doctor advised us for admit. As we were already in tension, decided for our child hospitalization. The doctor/nurse took half an hour for IV insertion to my child hand which made us further in tension. My child was crying a lot and even we too. The blood test shows no malaria/typhoid, and x-ray also normal. On next day fever gone and my child back to almost normal condition. No fever from last 30+ hours then only doctor was insisting us for further 5 days hospitalization from the 3rd day of hospitalization and wanted to insert IV injection in my child’s another hand as the first hand was swelling because of which child was crying. We told that as there is no fever from almost 1.5 days, please start the oral treatment. But that doctor became angry and was telling us that he had not made our child sick. Why you came to this hospital? I didn’t tell you to come. You yourself have come to this hospital. Such type of rude behavior from a doctor we have observed first time in our life. The angry doctor warned us to take DAMA discharge from your own risk and submit a signed letter. So finally we have decided to take DAMA discharge and next day consulted a local clinic doctor. I just want to request doctor not to become rude with the child and their parents as they are the most curious person w.r.t to their child. I think it’s the doctor responsibility to not only give proper and required medical treatment to the patient but also to make their patient to have full trust on them as we never expect such a rude behavior from at least a doctor like this.
